The complete Skardu circuit — six days into the heart of Baltistan, following the Indus up the Karakoram Highway to the turquoise Kachura lakes, the Sarfaranga cold desert, the orchards of Shigar valley, and across the vast, otherworldly Deosai Plains — the second-highest plateau on earth.
Lakes, deserts, waterfalls and the junction of the world's three great mountain ranges, fully guided from pickup to drop-off with a bonfire and a traditional musical night. Departures run weekly from both Islamabad and Lahore.
