The complete Neelum Valley circuit — five days deep into Azad Kashmir, following the river all the way to its quietest corners. You'll stay at Sharda, ride the jeep track to remote Taobat near the line of control, hike up to the storybook meadow of Arang Kel, and climb to the high alpine Ratti Gali Lake above Dowarian.
Waterfalls, riverside villages, two of Kashmir's most beautiful meadows and one of its finest glacial lakes — fully guided from pickup to drop-off, with bonfire and a traditional musical night. Departures run weekly from both Islamabad and Lahore.
Pickup from Islamabad and departure at 4:30 AM for Sharda (Lahore guests leave the night before), with sightseeing on the way. Breakfast halt at Muzaffarabad, then continue towards Sharda with short stops at Dhanni Waterfall, Kutton Waterfall and the village of Keran. Arrive Sharda, hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast call, then transfer to 4x4 jeeps for the long, scenic drive up the valley to Taobat — one of the last villages on the Neelum river. Explore the beauty of Taobat with free time to enjoy the riverside, then dinner and overnight stay at Taobat / Halmat.
Breakfast call, then leave for Arang Kel. Transfer to 4x4 jeeps for Kel, then begin the hike up to the meadow village of Arang Kel. Explore the beauty of Arang Kel, then head back down and drive to Sharda for dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast call at 7:00 AM, then leave for Ratti Gali. Arrive Dowarian and transfer to jeeps for the climb up to Ratti Gali Lake. Visit the high alpine lake and spend the whole day there, then begin the journey back, arriving at Keran for dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast, then leave for the cities with a short stop at Muzaffarabad and sightseeing of the Kashmir Waterfall (Kashmir Abshar). Short stop on the way for lunch / fuelling (lunch not included), then reach Islamabad and continue to Lahore — end of journey.
