One of the most complete adventures in the north — six days deep into the Astore region of Gilgit-Baltistan. You'll camp in the pine-ringed bowl of Rama Meadows beneath Nanga Parbat, cross the Chilam check post by jeep into the hidden green valley of Minimarg with its Rainbow and Crystal lakes, roll across the vast Deosai plains past Sheosar Lake, and stand at the Nanga Parbat viewpoint in the Rupal valley — face to face with the world's ninth-highest peak.
Jeep tracks, alpine lakes, two nights under canvas and three in mountain hotels — fully guided from pickup to drop-off, with a bonfire and a traditional musical night along the way. Departures run weekly from both Islamabad and Lahore.
Pickup from Islamabad and departure at 4:30 AM for Chilas (Lahore guests leave the night before). Breakfast halt at Balakot, then continue towards Chilas with a stop at Naran, visiting Lulusar Lake and Babusar Top, with the water streams along the way. Arrive Chilas, hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast call, then departure for Rama Meadows. Arrive Astore Bazar and transfer to 4x4 jeeps. Visit Rama Meadows and begin the hike towards Rama Lake, exploring the lake and its surroundings, then return to Rama Meadows in the evening. Overnight camping at Rama Meadows.
Breakfast call, then departure for Minimarg with sightseeing of the Indus River. Arrive the Chilam check post and transfer to jeep, then continue towards Minimarg with a short stay at Burzil Top and in the Minimarg valley. Visit Domail, Rainbow Lake and Crystal Lake, then return to the camping site. Overnight camping at Domail.
Breakfast call, then departure for the Deosai plains with a short stay at Burzil Top. Visit Sheosar Lake and enjoy free time in the Deosai National Park, then leave for Thirishing. Arrive Thirishing, hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast call, then leave for the Rupal valley to visit the Nanga Parbat viewpoint, spending quality time at the face of the mountain. Departure for Chilas with sightseeing on the way, arrive Chilas and hotel check-in. Dinner and overnight stay at Chilas.
Breakfast call, then leave for the cities with sightseeing on the way and a short stop at Balakot. Continue towards Islamabad, arrive and continue the drive to Lahore — end of journey.
