A true Karakoram trekking adventure into the wild Haramosh Valley — one of the most beautiful and least-visited corners of Gilgit-Baltistan. After driving up the Naran–Kaghan valley and the Karakoram Highway, the trip turns off the beaten track at Sassi and treks into the alpine wilderness of the Kutwal Valley.
From a base camp at Kutwal, the days are spent exploring the turquoise Kutwal Lake, the Kutwal Glacier and the iconic Haramosh Base Camp beneath the towering Haramosh Peak (7,409 m). Three nights are spent camping in the meadows and two in hotels, with bonfires under the stars. This is a moderate-to-challenging trek best suited to travellers with a good level of fitness.
Arrive Islamabad around 4:30 AM and meet the tour team (Lahore guests depart the night before). Begin the journey to Gilgit-Baltistan via the scenic Naran–Kaghan valley, with a breakfast stop at Naran, a visit to Lulusar Lake and a climb over the famous Babusar Top. Descend to Chilas and continue along the Karakoram Highway to Juglot. Hotel check-in, dinner and overnight in Juglot.
After breakfast, drive towards Sassi and transfer to local 4×4 jeeps for an adventurous ride to Guro Village. Start the trek towards the beautiful Kutwal Valley, passing through lush meadows, forests, wooden bridges and breathtaking mountain scenery, with views of glaciers and surrounding peaks. Arrive at the Kutwal Valley campsite, set up camp, dinner and overnight stay in camps.
Breakfast at the campsite, then a full-day excursion to the stunning Kutwal Lake — trekking through alpine meadows, glacial streams and scenic mountain trails. Spend time at the lake, then continue to the Kutwal Glacier with spectacular views of Haramosh Peak. Return to camp in the afternoon for dinner, a bonfire and a gathering under the starry mountain sky. Overnight at Kutwal Valley campsite.
After breakfast, trek towards the iconic Haramosh Base Camp through alpine meadows and glaciers with sweeping mountain views. Spend time exploring the base camp, capture the spectacular views of Haramosh Peak and its glaciers, and soak in the beauty of the Karakoram wilderness. Trek back to the Kutwal Valley campsite for dinner, a bonfire and leisure time with fellow trekkers. Overnight in camps.
Breakfast at the campsite, then begin the return trek from Kutwal Valley towards Dassu / Guro with final views of the valley and meadows. Reach the jeep point, transfer to 4×4 jeeps and drive back to Sassi, then continue towards Naran valley with scenic river and mountain views. Arrive Naran in the evening, hotel check-in, dinner and overnight stay.
Breakfast at the hotel, with an optional rafting activity on the Kunhar River (subject to weather and availability) and time to enjoy Naran valley. Begin the return journey towards Islamabad with short refreshment and sightseeing stops. Drop-off in Islamabad in the evening, then continue to Lahore for the final drop-off — end of journey.
