Visit the ancient Baltit and Altit Forts, watch the light on Rakaposhi from Duikar, cruise Attabad Lake, and ride to the Khunjerab Pass on the China border, with a jeep day in the rainbow valley of Naltar.
Morning flight to Gilgit (weather permitting), then drive up the KKH to Karimabad, Hunza. Overnight.
Baltit and Altit Forts, Karimabad bazaar, and sunset (or sunrise) at the Eagle’s Nest in Duikar.
Attabad Lake boating, the Passu Cones and Hussaini Bridge, then up to the Khunjerab Pass (seasonal).
A jeep day to Naltar — the rainbow lakes and pine forests above Gilgit.
Drive back down with a stop at the Rakaposhi viewpoint; overnight in Gilgit for the morning flight.
